This is a Crowley ATB (Articulating Tug Barge vessel), an 11,000 horsepower tug fits into a slot at the rear of the barge, creating a tanker.
While performing full speed crash-reversal testing in March 2009 we were pushing a heavy load, the barge was drafting 28' of water!
